Obituary for Paula Mae Preston

Paula Mae Preston, age 54, of Akron, formerly of Lower Salem, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Akron General Medical Center. She was born March 17, 1951, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Paul and Marie Crum Dickerson. She was a civilian clerk with the US Army Intelligence Office, and she was also a waitress with Canturbury's Resturaunt and The Lunch Box, both of Akron. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Carl (Uncle Bubby) Dickerson, and one grandson, Jonathan James Preston. Surviving are her fiance, Joseph Henninger; two daughters, Tammy Marie Preston (Curtis Anderson) of Lower Salem, and Mrs. Steve (Theresa Dee) Dickey of Canton; one son, Rusty Ray (Crystal) Preston of Lower Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Charlene) Harris and Mrs. Gerald (Sandra) Fisher, both of Akron; one brother, Russell Dickerson (Anita Morris) of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Chasity Nicole Preston and Eric Michael Preston, both of Lower Salem; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Wednesday, April 6, 2005, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the services will be held Thursday, April 7, at 1PM with Pastor Jerry Kuhn officiating.
