Patty M. Ball, age 61, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, February 26, 2010, at her home. She was born May 9, 1948, in Caldwell, daughter of the late Marcus Edward and Opal Juanita Clark Leasure. She was a 1966 graduate of Shenandoah High School, and she was formerly employed by Summit Acres Nursing Home. She was a homemaker who enjoyed making candles and crafts, gardening, and sewing. She was also an avid Jeff Gordon fan, and she was a Christian by faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters, Helen, Betty, and Teresa Leasure; and two brothers, Robert and John Leasure. Surviving are her husband, Clyde J. Ball, whom she married September 7, 1968; her children, Jacquie L. Gadd (fiancé Brian Dudley) of Caldwell, and J. Mark Ball of Sarahsville; three grandchildren, Derek Ball (fiance Mindy Gheen), Rusty Gadd, Chase Ball, and one grandchild on the way; her Yorkies, Bouncer and Gigi; two sisters, Margaret (Robert) Rossiter and Brenda (Robert) Hannum, both of Pleasant City; one brother, Marcus Leroy (Martha) Leasure of Akron; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Monday, March 1, 2010, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, March 2nd at 11AM with Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating.
