Obituary for Patricia F. Buckey
Patricia F. Buckey, age 60, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born January 24, 1960, in Cowen, West Virginia, daughter of the late Frank and Evelyn Knight Bennett. Pat was formerly employed as a nurses aide at Autumn Grove in Grove City, Pennsylvania, and she owned and operated Honest Cleaning in Caldwell. She attended Ava United Methodist Church and she was a member of the Caldwell Chapter #536, Women of the Moose. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking and gardening, and she was always looking out for her beloved family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Sue Arblaster; and one brother, Delmas Leon Bennett.
Surviving are her husband, Ricky Eugene Buckey, whom she married May 19, 2018; her children, Teaira Jane (James) Greene of Panama City, Florida, and Sheldon Robert Joe Gibbs (Ashley Latchaw) of Caldwell; her siblings, Larry (Linda) Bennett and Violet (Dwight) Carpenter, all of Summerfield, Frances Holmes of Volant, Pennsylvania, Kathy Lumbley of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and William Lester Bennett of Leesburg, Pennsylvania; her step-brother, Freeman Bennett of Parkersburg, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Trentin, Justice, and Sade’; one step-grandchild, Skylin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Sunday, July 5, 2020, from 11AM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery. For public safety, guests are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing at all gatherings.
