Obituary for Parthena Jett 'Patty' Woodworth
Parthena J. Patty Wilson Woodworth, age 88, of Caldwell, Ohio,died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at her home. She was born October 22, 1921, in Cleveland, daughter of the late Maurice A. and Nina J. Barnes Wilson. She was a 1939 graduate of Willoughby High School and she graduated from business college. Mrs. Woodworth retired with over 30 years of service to the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities. She attended Baptist churches for many years and she enjoyed taking classes at local community colleges well into her sixties.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Woodworth, Jr. on July 28, 1996; and two brothers, Lester and Alfred Wilson.
Surviving are two sons, James M. (Charlene) Woodworth, with whom she made her home, and William J. Woodworth, III, of Baltimore, Maryland; one daughter, Nina Jane McLaughlin of Mentor; 6 grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday June 18, 2010, from 10AM to 12PM at Huntsburg Baptist Church, 16401 Mayfield Road in Huntsburg,wherea funeral service will follow at 12PM with Pastor David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodvale Cemetery in Middleburg Heights.
