Obituary for Pamela L. Winland
Pamela L. Winland, age 57, of Woodsfield, Ohio, died Friday, September 1, 2017, at the home of her parents in Sarahsville, Ohio. She was born May 4, 1960, in Cambridge, daughter of William C. and Linda L. Moore Franklin. She was a 1978 graduate of Shenandoah High School, where she was a member of the Shenandoah Lady Zeps basketball team and the Shenandoah Zeps Marching Band. Pam was employed as an aide at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell, by Barnesville Home Health for ten years, and she was also employed as a dental assistant for Dr. John Cain in Woodsfield for ten years. She was a member of the Bates Hill Church of Christ, and she loved attending sporting events. Pam dearly loved her family, and she was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Francis E. “Junior” Winland, whom she married November 16, 1985; three children, Derek C. (Kaci) Winland and Danielle S. (Brandon) St. Clair, both of Sarahsville, and Andrew F. (Kelsey) Winland of Stafford; her siblings, Allen D. (Julie) Franklin, William C. (Jill) Franklin, II, Joey M. (Penny) Franklin, and Patti J. (Adam) Mallett, all of Sarahsville; five grandchildren, Khloee Winland, Karlee Winland, Deekon Winland, Cohen St. Clair, and Wren St. Clair, with a new grandchild due in November; her mother-in-law, Arlene Winland of Lewisville; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 2-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell. The funeral service will be observed Wednesday, September 6th at 11AM at the Bates Hill Church of Christ, 20988 Zep Road, Sarahsville, Ohio, with Evangelist Harry Summers officiating.
