Obituary for Orville W. Casey
Orville W. Casey, age 95, of Mt. Ephraim, Ohio, died Sunday, January 30, 2005, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born August 22, 1909, in Cambridge, son of the late Joseph and Clara South Casey. He was a former employee of the Noble County Highway Department. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Moore Casey, on July 21, 1996; one daughter, Clara E. 'Kay' Casey; two sisters, Neva Bichard and Helen Casey; and four brothers, Okey, Joseph, Charles, and Robert Casey. He is survived by a daughter, Erma Wiley of Mt. Ephraim; one step-son, Donald G. (Irene) Moore of Belle Valley; two sisters, Mary Ellen Bartholomew of Crestline, Ohio and Betty Marks of Loudonville, Ohio; one grandson, Dan Shafer of Mt. Ephraim; three step-granddaughters, Vicki (Danny) Basford, Patty (Denny) Bettinger, and Debbie (Wayne) Eubanks; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation was Monday, January 31, 2005, from 2-6PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the service was held Tuesday, February 1 at 1PM. Burial was at Mt. Ephraim Cemetery.
