Obituary for Opal Juanita Leasure
Opal Juanita Leasure, age 86, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. She was born October 13, 1921, in Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Little Zedrick and Rosa Belle Bates Clark. She was employed at the former Caldwell Produce, the Shenandoah Egg Factory, and the Noble County Home. She was a beloved mother and homemaker who enjoyed quilting, cooking, pie baking, and canning. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Edward Leasure; three daughters, Helen, Betty and Teresa Leasure; two sons, Robert and John Leasure; one sister, Mary LuCinda Anderson; one brother, John Jacob Clark; and two grandchildren, Donna Smith and Danny Leasure. Surviving are three daughters, Margaret (Robert) Rossiter of Pleasant City, Patty (Clyde) Ball of Sarahsville and Brenda (Robert) Hannum of Pleasant City; one son, Marcus Leroy (Martha) Leasure of Akron; five brothers, Delbert B. (Nellie) Clark of Caldwell, James R. (Nancy) Clark of Caldwell, Zedrick J. (Kay) Clark of Senecaville, Joseph E. (Nancy) Clark of Pleasant City and William C. (Marianne) Clark of Belle Valley; one sister, Rosa Belle (Paul) King of Caldwell; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from 2-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 1PM with Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville, Ohio.
