Obituary for Norma Kay Wiley
Norma Kay Wiley, age 77, of Caldwell, Ohio, went peacefully to be with the Lord at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell on April 11, 2016. She was born November 15, 1938, daughter of the late Frank and Edna E. Cain Wiley in Sharon, Ohio, which was her home most of her life. She was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church, and she worked as a child care provider for many families, for which she loved and remembered each one with cards. She had many years of health issues, including being a dialysis patient for over eleven years, and she was a resident of Summit Acres for the past year and a half. She will be remembered by many loved ones, as her favorite past time was writing letters and sending cards, especially on birthdays and at Christmas. May she rest in peace in her heavenly home.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, David Ruppel and his wife, Peggy, and a niece-in-law, Jenny Ruppel.
Surviving are her sisters, Jean Ann and husband Gerald Ruppel of Caldwell and Linda Feldner of Cambridge; her niece, Diane (Jerry) Emde of Plainwell, Michigan; her nephews, Dr. Dennis (Diana) Ruppel of Gahanna, Gary (Kelly) Ruppel and Larry Ruppel, both of Caldwell, and James (Lisa) Feldner of Westlake; 13 special great-nieces and nephews, and two special great-great-nieces. She is also survived by life-long friends and cousins, Barbara Hannahs of Zanesville, Charity Wiley of Caldwell; and forever friends, Deanna Garvin, Kay Boyd Hill, and Jeannette Boyd Hogue.
Friends may call Friday, April 15, 2016, from 11AM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2PM with Pastor Helen Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sharon Cemetery Association, c/o Judy Baker, 15023 McConnellsville Road, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724.
