Obituary for Nora A. Williams
Nora A. Williams, age 86, of South Olive, Ohio, died Sunday evening (5/26/2002) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. She was born 1/10/1916 in Enoch Township, Noble County, Ohio a daughter of the late Ernest & May Swain Ball. She was a homemaker and had been a waitress at the former Ogles Restaurant in Dexter City, Ohio. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilliary in Dexter City, Ohio and the Pythian Sisters in Lowell, Ohio. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by he husband Rolland Williams who died 4/27/1973; a son Virgil Williams and 3 brothers Willard, Roy & Floyd Ball. Surviving are 3 sons H. Lewis (Cecelia) Williams of Canton, Ohio, Richard Dean and Roy Lee Williams of South Olive, Ohio; 3 sisters Bertha Clark of East Union, Ohio, Betty Huberty of Caldwell, Ohio and Charlene Archibald of South Olive, Ohio; 4 brothers Clifford Ball of Caldwell, Ohio, Ernest Ball, Jr. of Canton, Ohio, Charles Ball of Sarahsville, Ohio and Robert Ball of Marietta, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at McVay-erkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 PM with Pastor George Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery, near Caldwell, Ohio.
