Obituary for Nicholas Nathan Mincks
Nicholas Nathan Mincks, age 32, of Caldwell, Ohio,died Saturday, May 1, 2010, at his home. He was born January 6, 1978, in Beverly, son of Bill L. and Jan K. Cantwell Mincks of Macksburg. He was a 1996 graduate of Caldwell High School and a graduate of the Washington State Community College heating and air conditioning program. He attended the Macksburg United Methodist Church. Nick was formerly employed as a logger with Donald Morris Lumber and M&S Logging. He owned and operated M&D Mowing along with his son Dominic, and he was an avid sports fan, especially a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.








He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Marie Ziler Mincks, whom he married December 31, 1998, and who died January 16, 2000.




In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Dominic W. Mincks of Caldwell;two brothers, Joey (Brandey) Mincks of Caldwell and Chris (Crystal) Mincks of Dexter City; his maternal grandmother, Anna Cantwell of Caldwell; his father and mother-in-law, Kenneth Butch and Alice Ziler of Caldwell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.







Friends may call Thursday, May 6, 2010,from 5-8 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral will be observed Friday, May 7that 1PM with Rev. Ken Ogg officiating. Burial willfollowat Lund Cemetery in Macksburg.
