Obituary for Nellie M. Clark
Nellie M. Clark, age 87, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born February 4, 1932, in Noble County, daughter of the late Oliver and Lula Ayers Anderson. She was a graduate of Forest Grove High School, and she retired from Weatherseal in Caldwell. Nellie loved baking, gardening, and reading, and she also enjoyed playing Rook and Canasta. She was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who raised many grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert B. Clark, whom she married in August, 1950, and who died September 4, 2013; one son, Michael Ray Clark; one granddaughter, Connie Caye Clark; one sister, Grace Williams; and seven brothers, John, Harry, Robert, Ralph, Delbert, Roger, and Richard Anderson.
Surviving are her children, Dennis E. (Vicki) Clark, Dale B. (Judi) Clark, and Gary A. (Connie) Clark, all of Caldwell, Janice J. (Dave) Milliken of Barnesville, and Janet J. (Jeff) Harding, Linda K. (Gary) Winegardner, and Judith L. (Jerry) O’Donnell, all of Caldwell; one sister-in-law, Bernita Anderson of Caldwell; 28 grandchilden;49 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 3-7PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell where the funeral service will be observed Sunday, July 14th at 2PM with Jim Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Archer’s Ridge Cemetery.
