Obituary for Nancy L. Seevers
Nancy L. Seevers, age 76, of Ava, Ohio, died Monday, December 16, 2019, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born September 27, 1943, in Jackson County, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell and Nellie Bush Baker. She attended Belle Valley High School, and she was formerly employed by March Electric in Cambridge. Nancy attended the Ava Free Methodist Church, and she loved reading her Bible. She also enjoyed going to Marianne’s in Belle Valley for lunch. She was a beloved wife and mother who was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Seevers, whom she married January 27, 1962, and who died March 15, 2015; her sisters, Virginia Wilkos, Marie Church, Gladys Moore, Sarah Anderson, and Jane Dovenbarger; and her brothers, William “Art” Baker, Raymond Baker, and Richard “Dick” Baker.
Surviving are two sons, Tim W. (Jennifer) Seevers of Quaker City and Clint E. Seevers of Washougal, Washington; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Baker of Dudley and Russell (Donna) Baker of Byesville; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Sunday, December 22, 2019, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Monday, December 23rd at 11AM. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
