Obituary for N. Arlene Schneeberger
N. Arlene Schneeberger, age 85, of Dexter City, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Marietta Center. She was born April 17, 1933 in Harriettsville, daughter of the late John and Ernestine Hines Morris. Arlene was a 1950 graduate of Caldwell High School and a 1954 Graduate of Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work. She retired as a Case Manager with the Noble County Department of Job and family Services with 27 years of service. A member of the Marietta Baptist Temple, Arlene loved flowers, quilting, knitting and crocheting.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Schneeberger, whom she married August 21, 1965 and who died January 2, 2018.
Surviving are her children, Anna (Rick) Pauley of Staunton, Virginia, Jetta Hesson of Byesville and Sid (Susan) Schneeberger of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; eight grandchildren, Samantha (Rufino) Corona of Matamoros, Mexico, Richie (Channa) Long of Stewarts Draft, Virginia, Jeff Overly of Byesville, Kaitlyn (Kenny) Weber of Dexter City, Bethany Hesson (Casey Farnese) of Dexter City, Barry Cannon of Caldwell, Josie and Boone Schneeberger of Mineral Wells, West Virginia; three great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Hunter and Tenleigh.
Friends may call Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 3 to 8 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street in Caldwell, where the funeral will be observed on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at 2 PM with Pastor Don Tuebert officiating. Burial will be in Olive Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Paul E. Schneeberger Fund, c/o Community Savings, 425 Main Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724.
