The Lord Jesus drew Myron Lee Law, 91, into Eternity on February 20, 2023. His family was privileged to witness the fulfilment of his most fervent desire to be reunited with his beloved wife, Cynthia.
Myron was an extraordinary, remarkable, kind, loyal, humble, faith-filled man who devoted his life to his wife, his children, and the Church. Myron and Cynthia together created seven children, their most prized possessions, which he referred to as the seven flowers in the garden of their love. He was a fruit grower, photographer, pilot, musician, poet, and horticulturist, with unbounded wit. Having a photographic memory, he remembered every joke he had ever read, and kept his family entertained with an unending supply of blonde jokes.
He was the devoted husband to Cynthia, who preceded him in death last year. Together they were the loving parents of seven children, six of whom survive: Jacquie (Tom) Adamik of Senecaville; Jeanie (Jon) Bennett of Cambridge; Catherine Ingram of Caldwell; David (Karen) Law of Caldwell; Mary Thomas of Albany; and John Law of Senecaville, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Mildred, brother Robert David, sister Carol, daughter Lorraine Hesson, grandson Joel Law, and great-granddaughter Katrina Feldner.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McVay Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Caldwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Myron and Cynthia Law Scholarship Fund at St. Benedict School in Cambridge, Ohio, and Hospice of Guernsey, Inc. in Cambridge, Ohio.
