Obituary for Myrna JoAnne Larrison
Myrna JoAnne Larrison, age 79, of Ava, Ohio, died Sunday, November 20, 2016, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born October 25, 1937, in Cumberland, daughter of the late David W. and Wilma Seevers Masters. She was a 1956 graduate of Sarahsville High School, and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ava United Methodist Church, and she loved to sew and maintain and work in her greenhouse.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. “Bud” Larrison, whom she married June 16, 1956, and who died November 30, 2001; two grandsons, Russell Ellis and Steven Ellis, Jr.; two sisters, Almeda Cagg and Sheila Morris; and two brothers, Virgil Masters and Junior “Doc” Masters.
Surviving are three daughters, Anna D. Ellis and Barbara J. Stahl, both of the home, and Peggy Jean Larrison of Byesville; two grandchildren, Josslynn Alloway and Terry J. Stahl, both of the home; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Daisy Berger of Creston; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Wednesday, November 23rd at 11AM with Pastor David Cater officiating. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
