Obituary for Mina M. Nichols
Mina M. Nichols, age 76, of Cumberland, Ohio, died Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Victorian Oaks in Cambridge, Ohio. She was born November 1, 1935, daughter of the late Lawrence Reuben and Erna Hafer. She was employed by Krogers for 32 years, for which she worked in data entry at its Columbus office, and she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Byesville. Mrs. Nichols was also a homemaker, who enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, sewing, and dancing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Stanley Nichols; one son James Ingersol and two step-sons, Loyd and Harold Nichols. Surviving are one daughter, Linda Moyer of London, Ohio; one daughter-in-law, Faith Nichols of Cumberland; one brother, Lawrence O. “Bud” (Georgianna) Hafer of Grove City; one sister, Betty Gagnog of Columbus; three grandchildren, Greg Moyer of Columbus, Kimberly (Mike) Lehman of Colorado, and Eric Moyer of Columbus; three step-grandchildren, Melissa (Dave) Heppner of Findlay, Larry Thompson of Cambridge, and Jessica (Jared) Winkleman of Pleasant City; five step-great-grandchildren, Reid and Emma Heppner, Lexi Thompson, and Jarica and Jaelee Winkleman. A private funeral service will be observed. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio, 43725.
