Obituary for Mildred Gamary Stoltz
Mildred Gamary Stoltz, age 88, of Westerville, Ohio, died Thursday, Octoboer 8, 2015, at Heartland of Westerville. She was born January 22, 1927, in Piney Fork, Jefferson County, daughter of the late John and Julia Durant Gamary. She was raised in the Ava area of Noble County, and she was a 1945 graduate of Waynesburg High School. She retired from the food service department of Bethesda Hospital in Zanesville. Mildred was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zanesville, and she was known for being kind and generous to everyone she met. She enjoyed playing bingo and working word search puzzles, and she also enjoyed collecting Beanie Baby bears and teddy bears.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Morland and Judy Larson; three brothers, John, Joseph, and Andrew Gamary; and her step-father, John Schott.
Surviving are one son, James W. (Mindy) Stoltz of Columbus; one sister, Sue Zedella of Cleveland; two grandchildren, Jakob G. C. Stoltz and Danika E. C. Stoltz, both of Columbus; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday, October 12, 2015, from 12PM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 2PM with Pastor Mark G. Matzke officiating. Burial will follow at Halley’s Ridge Cemetery near Ava.
