Obituary for Mildred E. Reed Cottrill
Mildred E. Reed Cottrill, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, November 18, 2010, at her home. She was born June 2, 1928, in Caldwell, daughter of the late Charles and Nettie Yonnally Gill and step-daughter of Freda Gill. She was formerly employed by Essex Wire in Zanesville, and she retired as an employee of NCR in Cambridge. She was a Noble County Senior Companion, and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Belle Valley and the Belle Valley American Legion Auxilliary. She enjoyed fishing and visiting with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents and step-mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Cottrill, who died in 1984; one daughter, Carol Ann Reed; and one brother, Fred Gill.

Surviving are her children, Lloyd David (Barbara) Reed of Caldwell, Bud (Susie) Reed of Caldwell, Carmen E. (Mark) Feldner of Belle Valley, Bill (Shari) Reed of Belle Valley, Corky C. Reed of Caldwell, and Barbara Kone of California; one sister, Mary (Steve) Gant of Belle Valley; one brother, Paul (Jessie) Gill of Caldwell;13 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, November 19, 2010, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Saturday, November 20th at 11AM with Pastors Bill Pickenpaugh and Jay Loucks officiating. Burial will follow at Hally's Ridge Cemetery in Ava. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 187, Belle Valley, Ohio, 43717.
