Obituary for Meda Jane Werner Stout
Meda Jane Werner Stout, of Mason, Ohio, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, at Hospice of Cincinnati. She attended Kentucky Christian University, Cincinnati Christian University, and Fuller Theological Seminary. She was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star, and she was a member of Christ Church in Mason. She was a passionate supporter of her husband's ministry endeavors for 47 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Kathryn Werner; and one sister, Carol Sue Werner. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Dr. E. Wayne Stout of Mason Christian Village; three sons, Gregory E. (Laurel) Stout, Dr. Jeffrey W. (Marcia) Stout, and Mark A. (Kimberly) Stout; her grandchildren, A.J., Giovanni (Kristi), Jacob, Logan, Bryan, Amelia (Chris), Maygen (Kyle), Grayson (Casey), Jair, and Ian; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Smith; several nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2008, from 10AM-1PM at Christ Church, 5165 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio, where a funeral service will be held at 1PM. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday, March 26th from 10AM-1PM at First Church of Christ, 601 North Street, Caldwell, Ohio, where a service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Loran Dace and Pastor Zach Waite officiating. Burial will follow at Ragan's Chapel Cemetery in Hoskinsville. Memorial contributions may be made to Cincinnati Christian University, 2700 Glenway Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45204; or to Kentucky Christian University, 100 Academic Parkway, Grayson, Kentucky, 41143-2205.
