Mary Opal Feldner, age 95, of Sarahsville, Ohio died Thursday evening (6/12/2003) at her residence. She was born 9/17/1907 at Stafford, Ohio a daughter of the late Willard & Carrie Carrick Love. She was a homemaker and had attended the Green Valley Church of Christ for several years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Henry Bilford Feldner, whom she married in 1924 and who died in 1958; 2 sons Ed who died in 1968 and Paul who died in infancy; 2 sisters Rose Bartenslug and Ida Mae Christy and 2 brothers Clesson & Joe Love. Surviving are 2 daughters Betty (Denver) Bates of Canton and Shirley Butler of Thornville; 4 sons John (Doris) of Portsmouth, Virginia, Donnie (Bonnie) of Scio, Charles (Thelma) of East Union and Gary (Ruthann) Feldner with whom she resided; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Friends may call Saturday (6/14/2003) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, Ohio where services will be held on Sunday (6/15/2003) at 2:00 PM with Evangelist Frank Love officiating. Burial will follow at Crum Ridge Cemetery.
