Obituary for Mary M. Williams
Mary M. Williams, age 54, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday, November 11, 2007, at her home. She was born March 31, 1953, in Willowick, Ohio, daughter of Fred and Miriam Dickerson Marcosson of Willowick. She was a 1971 graduate of Eastlake North High School in Eastlake, Ohio. She was also a 1975 graduate of Cleveland State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and in 1978, she graduated from Kent State University with a Master of Library Science. She was employed as a librarian for the Muskingum College library in New Concord. She was formerly employed by the Noble County Health Department, and she was also a former correspondent for the Marietta Times. She was a former secretary for the Noble County Historical Society and a member of Noble County Performing Arts. Mary was a member of the Caldwell United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gary S. Williams, whom she married March 24, 1979; one son, Owen F. (Jamie) Williams of Westerville; one daughter, Meryl L. Williams of New Concord; and one brother, Alan Marcosson of Cleveland. Friends may call Wednesday, November 14, 2007, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio, where the funeral service will be held Thursday, November 15th at 1PM with Pastor Gary Fitzgerald and Pastor Larry Hukill officiating. Inurnment will take place at Dover Burial Park, Dover, Ohio, at the convenience of the family.
