Obituary for Mary Ann Harriman
Mary Ann Harriman, age 76, of Dexter City, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her home. She was born September 2, 1941, in Belle Valley, daughter of the late John and Helen Shimp Foreman. Mary attended Ogle’s Ridge Community Church and she loved to read her Bible. She enjoyed flowers and nature, and she loved sitting on her porch swing on nice days. She also enjoyed singing. Mary was a beloved mother, grandmother, and homemaker who loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Robert “Bob” Harriman, whom she married November 28, 1959, and who died December 1, 1993; one son, Bobby Harriman, Jr.; 4 sisters, Ruth, Gladys, Helen, and Jeanie; and 2 brothers, John Riley and infant brother, Georgie.
Surviving are her children, Laura G. Stottsberry (Pat Clark), Mary M. Parcell (Jay Johnson), Carolyn J. Harriman, Amanda S. Harriman, Ronnie L. Harriman, and Dan R. Harriman, all of Dexter City, and Randy D. (Holly) Harriman of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Friday, June 8, 2018, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Satuday, June 9th at 1PM with Pastor Kevin White and Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Ogle’s Ridge Cemetery.
