Obituary for Martin R. Rochus
Martin R. Rochus, age 72, of Westerville, Ohio, died Monday, August 21, 2006 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1934, in Belmont County, Ohio, son of the late Martin W. and Jessie M. Walker Rochus. Mr. Rochus was a 1954 graduate of Sarahsville High School and had attended electrician school in Columbus. He worked as an electrician with I.B.E.W. Local #683 in Columbus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Rochus, and a sister, Patricia Davis. Surviving are his wife, Thelma B. Davis Rochus, whom he married in 1956; two sons, M. Scott (Brenda) Rochus of Oak Hill, Ohio, and David L. (Bobbi) Rochus of Johnstown, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Bob (Geraldine) Campbell of Cambridge, Ohio; five beloved grandchildren, Cody, Paige, BayLee, Eric and Tara; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, August 24, 2006, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell, Ohio, where the funeral service will be Friday, August 25, at 1PM with Pastor Wayne Booth officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Pleasant City, Ohio. The family requests that memorials be made to HomeReach Hospice - 3595 Olentangy River Road - Columbus, Ohio 43214
