Marjorie Joanne Hickman, age 75, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, October 2, 2010, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born August 19, 1935, in Caldwell, daughter of the late John Willard and Mildred Louise Hitchens Hickman. She was employed by Caldwell Exempted Village Schools in the cafeteria for 25 years, and she also sold Avon products for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Caldwell, where she sang in the choir and formerly served as a deacon. She enjoyed working word search puzzles and jigsaw puzzles, and she loved her cats.
She is survived by two brothers, John Delbert (Janet) Hickman of Columbus and Donald Ray Hickman of Caldwell; two aunts, Lois O. Stiers and Frances Niswonger; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell. The funeral service will be observed Tuesday at 11AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Caldwell with Pastor Helen Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Cemetery.
