Marilyn D. Harriman, age 77, of Lower Salem, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her home. She was born October 9, 1947, in Cambridge, daughter of the late John Crosson, Sr. and Mary M. Knight Crosson Shaffer. Marilyn was employed by K-Mart in Cambridge for many years. She loved to go to yard sales and shop at flea markets. She was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Misty Harriman; one great-grandson, Preston Walker Harriman; a son-in-law, Rodger Sparks; two sisters, Sharon Huntsman and Rita Shaffer; and one brother, John Crosson, Jr.
Surviving are her husband, Charles A. Harriman, whom she married June 4, 1966; her children, Shelly Harriman of Newport, Tony (Becky) Harriman of Dexter City, Mary (Tim) Guy and Chrystal Harriman, all of Lower Salem; 10 grandchildren, Kirstie, Megan, Katlin, Christian, Chad, Earl, Charley, Sidney, Thomas, and Nicholas;12 great-grandchildren, Jensen, Riley, Hunter, Dax, Hayden, Lakota, Addisyn, Paislee, Briggs, James, Magnolia, and Alex; her siblings; Pam Marple of Byesville, Mark Shaffer of Byesville and Matt Shaffer of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Lousie Berry of Lower Salem; a brother-in-law, Roy (Kandi) Harriman of Lower Salem; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be observed Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 2PM at Ogle’s Ridge Cemetery with Ken Perkins officiating. McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell is caring for the family.
