Obituary for Marilyn Addie Walls
Marilyn Addie Walls, age 75, of Beverly, Ohio, died Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly. She was born May 20, 1944, in Pleasant City, daughter of the late Albert Montgomery and Jewell Bernice Larrick Head. She was a 1962 graduate of Southern Noble High School in Dexter City. She had worked in factories and restaurants in Ann Arbor Michigan, and later worked for Goodwill Industries in Zanesville. Marilyn was a member of the Ullman Street Church of Christ in Beverly and the Stitch and Chatter Quilt Club. She never knew a stranger and made friends wherever she went. Marilyn loved flowers, had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing hymns. She had written a song of her own, enjoyed quoting scripture and read her Bible every day. She now waits in Heaven for her beloved family and friends to join her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Walls; her infant son, John Walls; and two half-brothers, Charles and Robert Moore.
Surviving are her siblings, Bernice E. Boyd of Beverly, Ellouise J. Michelli of Yadkinville, North Carolina, and Albert P. Head of Indiana; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews.
Friends may call Sunday, September 1, 2019, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed on Monday, September 2, 2019, at 11AM with Pastor Mark Leslie officiating.
