Obituary for Marian Hope Hickman
Marian Hope Hickman, age 76, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, November 13, 2021, at her home. She was born January 20, 1945, in Caldwell, daughter of the late Emmett and Hazel Stalnaker Connell. Hope was a homemaker and attended the Bates Hill Church of Christ. She enjoyed collecting things, especially angels. She was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Coyle and infant sister Linda Sue Connell; and three brothers, Lester Connell, Glen Connell and Carlos “Dutch” Connell.
Surviving are her husband, James Ronald Hickman, whom she married April 17, 1965; four daughters, Linda S. (Charles) Copus, Tammy L. (Terry) Springer, and Tina F. Clark, all of Caldwell, and Jennifer N. Hickman of Byesville; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Friday, November 19, 2021, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Saturday, November 20th at 1PM with Evangelist Harry Summers officiating.
