Obituary for Margaret Catherine Samay-Rine
Margaret Catherine Samay-Rine, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, September 14, 2009, after being diagnosed with cancer on August 23, 2009. She was born November 10, 1926, in Trentum, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Casper and Vera Peros Samay. She was a 1947 graduate of Belle Valley High School, and she attended many class reunions with her best friends, Mary Crum and Helen Moore, and her sister, Vera Samay Fish. She loved animals, flowers, and spending time with her friends. She was also a woman of great faith, trusting the Lord with her life. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Rine; and one brother, Paul Samay. Surviving are two sisters, Vera (Bill) Samay Fish of Lore City and Helen (Bob) Samay Dingey of Zanesville; and many nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Margaret spent her last days at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell, and the family would like to thank them as well as Hospice of Guernsey for their love of Margaret and for their wonderful care. Friends may call Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a Christian wake service will follow at 8PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be observed Thursday, September 17th at 10AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caldwell, with Rev. Fr. Wayne Morris as celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt.
