Obituary for M. Elizabeth Teeters
M. Elizabeth Teeters, age 90, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, November 14, 2008, at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville. She was born July 21, 1918, in East Union, Ohio, daughter of the late John Albert and Ethel Oella King Clark. She was a homemaker, and she worked as a poll worker in Brookfield Twp., Noble County, for many years. She was also a 4-H advisor for Brookfield Twp. and a member of the Noble County 4-H Council. She was a member of the Olive Green United Methodist Church, and attended Ocean View United Methodist Church in Oak Island, North Carolina and Westwood Baptist Church in Zanesville with her daughters. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and working puzzles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Edwin Teeters, whom she married August 10, 1939, and who died June 29, 1982; one daughter, Lois Marie Hose; one brother, Albert Clark; and one grandson, Dennis Hose. Surviving are two daughters, Violet (Clyde) Anderson of Oak Island, North Carolina, and Helen (William) Maxwell of Zanesville; one son-in-law, Kenneth Hose of Bedford, Indiana; two sisters, Blanche Fogle of New Concord and Ruth Fogle of Harriettsville; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call Monday, November 17, 2008, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 18th at 11AM with Stephen Hose officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery.
