Obituary for Lois M. "Fannie" Gildow
Lois M. “Fannie” Gildow, age 90, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. She was born January 20, 1927, in Noble County, daughter of the late Edson and Lucille Hayes Clark. She retired from the Dana Corporation plant in Caldwell, and she was a senior companion at the Noble County Senior Center. Fannie was a member of the Middleburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed caring for her flowers and yard, she enjoyed cleaning, and she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Gildow, who died October 31, 1975; her longtime companion, Richard Schott; and two brothers, Paul Clark and Fred Clark.
Surviving are three daughters, Sue (John) Saling, Jean Fogle, and Mary E. Pakes, all of Caldwell; one sister, Annabelle West of Caldwell; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Monday, March 20, 2017, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, March 21st at 11AM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Ogle’s Ridge Cemetery.
