Obituary for Linda P. Nichols
Linda P. Nichols, age 73, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, September 28, 2018, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. She was born February 19, 1945, in Marietta, daughter of the late Charles Arthur and Nellie Elizabeth Boney Nichols. She attended Brookfield and Belle Valley Schools. Linda helped her mom and dad on the family farm for many years, and she was a member of the Olive Green Community Church. She loved watching Ohio State University basketball, Cincinnati Reds baseball, and NASCAR, especially Jimmy Johnson, and she enjoyed reading.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Dotty Nichols, who died April 13, 1960.
Surviving are her siblings, Lucy (Wade) Fleming and Joy (Marvin) Feldner, all of Caldwell, Jane (Tim) Perez of Belle Valley, Christine (Steve) Gray of Zanesville, and Char (Keith) Swingle of Dayton; 16 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday, October 3, 2018, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Ken Perkins officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:30PM at Sharon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to P.O.
