Obituary for Leland R. Reeves
Leland R. Reeves, age 50, of Dublin, Ohio, died Monday, May 5, 2008, at Dublin Methodist Hospital. He was born May 21, 1957, in Marietta, Ohio, son of Dewey Landis and Jenny L. Gray Reeves of Marietta. He was a 1975 graduate of Shenandoah High School, Sarahsville, and a 1980 graduate of Marietta College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting with a minor in theatre arts. He was a clothier who owned and operated Oxley's Clothiers in Columbus. He loved his work, and he loved his weimaraners. He was a good friend and someone you could count on. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Christian K. (Cindy L.) Reeves of Caldwell; and one niece, Ceirra Reeves of Caldwell. Friends may call Saturday, May 10, 2008, from 10AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Dave Wells officiating. Inurnment will take place at Ogle's Ridge Cemetery at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capitol Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, Ohio, 43026, or online at www.cahs-pets.org.
