Obituary for Larry G. Williams
Larry G. Williams, age 69, of Dexter City, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at his home. He was born November 21, 1947, in Massillon, son of the late Glen and Katherine Lent Williams. He was employed as a pipe layer for Boger Construction, Jones Construction, and Tab Construction, all of Stark County, retiring in 2001 from Beaver Excavating in Canton. He was a member of Laborers Union Local #1015 in Canton. Larry enjoyed going to stock car races and auctions, and he loved riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed working on cars and doing mechanical work, and he enjoyed junking.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Thomas G. Williams, who died in 2016; and three brothers: his twin brother, Gary, and James and Jack Williams.
Surviving are his former wife, Marsha L. Trott Williams of Massillon, and former wife and companion Angela K. Starr Williams of Dexter City; one son; one sister, Glenna J. Marthey of Massillon; three grandchildren, including John A. Williams of Massillon; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday, July 7, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Saturday, July 8th at 11AM with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Crooked Tree Cemetery.
