Obituary for Larry Dennis Wears
Larry Dennis Wears, age 54, of Macksburg, Ohio, died Sunday, March 29, 2015, at his home. He was born September 17, 1960, in Macksburg, son of the late Richard L. and Geraldine Irene Longfellow Wears. He was a 1979 graduate of Caldwell High School, and he worked odd jobs in the Macksburg area. As a child, he attended the Macksburg United Methodist Church, and he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, #2952 in Caldwell. He loved hunting squirrels, fishing, taking rides with his friends, and he enjoyed having a cup of coffee on his porch.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Connie Jean Wears; one brother, Richard L. Wears; and one brother-in-law, Raymond Hupp.
Surviving are one sister, Carol Lee Hupp of the home; one brother, Allen James Miller of West Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and he will be missed by his many friends.
Friends may call Thursday, April 2, 2015, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Friday, April 3, 2015, at 11AM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Lund Cemetery in Macksburg.
