Kimberly A. “Kim” Logan, age 64, of Pleasant City, Ohio, died Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 4, 1959, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Charles B. “Buddy” and Carol Ann Secrest Perkins, Jr. Kim was a 1978 graduate of Shenandoah High School and earned an LPN degree at vocational school. She was also a graduate of Belmont College where she was enrolled in the paramedic program and from Hocking College where she was enrolled in registered nursing. She was employed by United Ambulance for several years and later worked in the surgical unit and the intensive care unit for Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. Kim was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines. She loved supporting her grandchildren in their activities and spending time with her labs. She was devoted to her family.
Kim is survived by her husband, David A. Logan, whom she married May 20, 1989; two daughters, Morgan L. (Justin) Denius of Pleasant City and Tara D. (Paul) Gabel of Byesville; 5 grandchildren, Cade and Tate Denius and Logan, Chase, and Brendan Gabel; her siblings, Valerie Kay (Anne Ralston) Perkins of Pleasant City, Veronica Jill (Junior) Parks of Summerfield, Charles B. “Chuck” Perkins, III, of Byesville, Edward M. (Laura) Perkins of Pleasant City, and Thomas P. (Rachel) Perkins of Somerset; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Cole.
A private service will be observed by the family and burial will take place at Buffalo Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to friend and neighbor Clara Belle Secrest and Hospice of Guernsey.
