Obituary for Kathy Diane Shuster
Kathy Diane Shuster, age 61, of Caldwell, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord May 2, 2012, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born March 28, 1951, in Muskingum County, daughter of the late David Harold and Carol Jane Beleville Shuster. She was a 1969 graduate of Caldwell High School and a 1971 graduate of Belmont Technical College. She also attended David Wilkerson Christian Academy in Texas. Kathy worked with physically and mentally handicapped adults, taking them to Special Olympics for several years. She was also employed as a nurse for the Barnesville Group Home, St. Clairsville Rehab, and Cambridge State Hospital. She was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Caldwell. She was being cared for at Summit Acres Nursing Home, where she was a resident. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Charles Martin, Jr. She is survived by two brothers, David M. Shuster and Anthony A. Shuster, Sr., both of Caldwell; one sister, Vicki Martin of Caldwell; four nephews, David Ivey, Scott (Crissy) Ivey, Anthony (Amy) Shuster, Jr., and Joshua Martin, all of Caldwell; three nieces, Kimberly (William) Ivey, Sheila (Scott) Farnsworth, both of Caldwell, and Brandi (Brian) Barlow of Asheboro, North Carolina; and 16 great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call Saturday, May 5, 2012, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Sunday, May 6th at 2PM with Pastor Tim Doudna officiating.
