Obituary for Karen Kay Long
Karen Kay Long, age 69, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at her home. She was born May 23, 1943, in Sharon Township, Noble County, Ohio, daughter of the late Glen and Chloe Fogle Long. She was a 1961 graduate of Belle Valley High School and she was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Zanesville. Karen was formerly employed by Essex Wire in Zanesville, NCR in Cambridge, and the Maple Avenue Bonded Service Station in Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Eilene Walters, Clarice Veldene Reed and Lola Jeane Feldner; and one brother, James Roger Walters. Surviving are her longtime friend, companion, and caregiver, Vickie L. Feldner of the home; one brother, Ralph L. Long (Judy Baze) of Byesville; one sister, Jolene (Ralph) Clark of Dexter City; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Friends may call Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 4-8 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home 416 East Street, Caldwell, where services will be observed Friday, June 8th at 2PM with Donny Rowlands officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery.
