Obituary for June L. Schneeberger
June L. Schneeberger, age 86, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, January 20, 2022, at her home. She was born June 4, 1935, in Elba, daughter of the late Franklin and Rosanna Hayes Schramm. June was a 1954 graduate of Southern Noble High School, which was in Dexter City. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Caldwell Motors and retired as a bookkeeper from Community Savings in Caldwell following 25 years of service. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for over 20 years. She also served as the church treasurer and was a Vacation Bible School teacher. June loved roses and gardening, sewing, and canning. She was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Diller and Grace Schneeberger; and one brother, Clyde Schramm.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond Edward Schneeberger, whom she married in 1956; her children, Beverly Rose (Jeffrey) Radcliff of Athens, Martha June (Stanley) Zalar of Caldwell, and Samuel S. (Angie) Schneeberger of Pleasant City; one brother, Earl Schramm of Devola; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
Friends may call Monday, January 24, 2022, from 11AM-1PM at New Harmony Baptist Church, 39500 Marietta Road, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Pastor Rob Seymour officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery in Sarahsville. Guests are asked to follow recommended safety guidelines to protect against Covid at all gatherings.
