Obituary for Joyce J. Egnot
Joyce J. Egnot, age 65, of Macksburg, Ohio, died Monday, May 3, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 26,1955, in Boone County, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ward and Allie Adkins Lambert. She was a homemaker, and ahw was formerly employed by Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell and Wal Mart in Marietta. Joyce was an avid collector of Fenton Glass and she enjoyed shopping. She loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Anna Gaye Workman; and four brothers, Herschel, Glen, Harold, and Herman Lambert.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Egnot, Jr., whom she married October 22, 1979; her children, Crystal D. Bates (Cody Snodgrass) of Beverly and Donald R. (Judy) Egnot, III, of Caldwell; her siblings, Christine Hilderbrand of Berea, Bob (Mary Lou) Lambert of Somerset, Charlotte Lutsy of Berea, Herbert (Connie) Lambert of Chesapeake, and Delores (Fred) Arbaugh of Beverly; four grandchildren, Bradley Bates, Allison Egnot, Briana Egnot, and Dalton Egnot; her mother-in-law, Dorothy T. Egnot Stack of Caldwell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Friday, May 7, 2021, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery. Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing at all gatherings.
