Obituary for Josephine J. Cleary
Josephine J. Cleary, age 92, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at her home. She was born October 15, 1915, in Elba, Ohio, daughter of the late John J. and Gladys Shilling Hesson. She was a homemaker and she was formerly employed as a substitute cook for Shenandoah High School, Sarahsville. She was a member of the Center Free Methodist Church, Sarahsville. She loved to knit and crochet, and she loved her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, O. Craig Cleary, who died April 26, 1982; three brothers, James, Max, and Raymond Hesson; and an infant brother and infant sister, Virgil and Kathleen Hesson. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Robert) Dietsche of Algonquin, Illinois, and Bonnie S. Cleary of Cambridge; one son, Jon (Sue) Cleary of Sarahsville; one sister-in-law, Judy Hesson of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Friends may call Friday, March 14, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be held Saturday, March 15th at 1PM with Pastor Myron Guiler officiating. Burial will follow at Village View Cemetery, Sarahsville.
