Obituary for Joseph Frank Church
Joseph Frank Church, age 78, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday afternoon (4/19/2003) at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born 11/7/1924 in Bud, West Virginia a son of the late Elliot and Eva Trodgeon Church. He was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Company, was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Belle Valley, Ohio and was a volunteer at the Samaritan House in Caldwell, Ohio. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 4 brothers Bennett, Walter, Clarence and Edward Church; 2 sisters Charlotte Dotson and Lena Farley. Surviving are his wife Paula Anderson Church whom he married 3/17/1967; 1 daughter Diana (Michael) Klemick of Cleveland; 1 son Frank Joseph Church, Jr. of Caldwell; 2 brothers Fred (Nadine) of Nevada and Arnette (Roberta) Church of New York; 1 sister Elvia Garcia of Colorado; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Tuesday (4/22/2003) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, where services will be held on Wednesday (4/23/2003) with Rev. David Kaczmarski and Rev. Darrell Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, Ohio. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
