Obituary for John R. Wheeler
John R. Wheeler, age 54, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, September 23, 2019, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born February 4, 1965, in Cambridge, son of Mary M. Pryor Wheeler of Belle Valley and the late Raymond L. Wheeler. He was a 1983 graduate of Shenandoah High School, and he attended the Hiramsburg United Methodist Church. In his younger years, John was a member of the Brookfield Lads and Lasses 4-H Club and he had the 1980 Grand Champion Market Lamb at the Noble County Fair. He enjoyed watching TV, gaming, fishing, and caring for his lawn.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Sue Wheeler; and his grandparents, Wesley and Rita Wheeler and William and Margaret Pryor.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call Friday, September 27, 2019, from 11AM-1PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 1PM with Pastor Keith Taylor and Evangelist Harry Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Hiramsburg Cemetery.
