Obituary for John B. Radcliff
John B. Radcliff, age 94, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Friday, March 13, 2009, at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell. He was born December 31, 1914, in Caldwell, son of the late George and Ida McBride Radcliff. He worked as a machinist/machine repair and electrician with Saffran Engineering and the GM Tech Center in Michigan. He enjoyed repairing things around his house and working on lawn tractors. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Wauneta Genevieve Porter Radcliff, whom he married December 4, 1937, and who died March 4, 2006; one sister, Ruby Sanford; three brothers, William, David, and Atlee Radcliff; and two grandchildren. Surviving are one son, Jack (Kathryn) Radcliff of Sterling Heights, Michigan; one daughter, June M. Aho of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, March 16, 2009, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at 1PM with Pastor Brian King officiating. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery.
