Obituary for Joan M. Ramsey
Joan M. Ramsey, age 70, of Lower Salem, Ohio, died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at her home. She was born January 1, 1936, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph A. and Jennialine M. Pfendler. She retired in 2001 from I.T.T. Industries, Bedford Heights, as a shipping and receiving manager after 32 years of service. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant brother, Surviving are her husband, Sherman Ramsey, whom she married February 2, 1957; three daughters, Joan M. Ramsey of Stafford; Jennialine M. Ramsey of Cleveland, and Mrs. Steve (Pamela R.) O'Dell of Camden, Arkansas; three sons, Sherman L. (Jo) Ramsey of Cleveland, Adrian M. Ramsey of Lower Salem, and Robert J. (Connie) Ramsey of Bedford; one sister, Maybelle Bathlow of Winter Haven, Florida; three brothers, Joseph (Erna) Pfendler and David (Lynn) Pfendler, both of Cleveland, and Eugene (Jean) Pfendler of Winter Haven, Florida; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, July 8, 2006, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be Sunday, July 9, at 2PM with Pastor Loran Dace officiating.
