Jeffrey Lee “Jeff” Fogle, age 65, of Lower Salem, Ohio, died Saturday, May 14, 2022, at his home. He was born November 9, 1956, in Marietta, son of the late Paul Wesley and Ruth Ester Clark Fogle. Jeff was a 1974 graduate of Skyvue High School. He retired as a technical engineer for Skuttle Manufacturing in Marietta. He also worked in heating and cooling for a period of time and for Big Boy Restaurants, Pennington Bakery, and Francis Family Restaurant in Macksburg. Jeff owned and operated a family logging business. He attended Road Fork Baptist Church and served three terms as Elk Township trustee. He was a member of the Noble County Wild Hogs Motorcycle Club, and he enjoyed golfing, working on cars, and was an avid gun collector. Jeff was devoted to his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, John William Fogle.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Lynn Bates Fogle, whom he married June 17, 1978; his children, Clint Lee (Jessica) Fogle of Mansfield, Stacy Dawn (Daniel) Blackstone of Sarahsville, and Sandra Kay Fogle (fiancé, Abraham Garcia) of Caldwell; two brothers, Paul R. “Randy” Fogle of Lower Salem and David Allen Fogle of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Ann Fogle of Vincent; 19 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 11AM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2PM with Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Inurnment will take place at Zion Cemetery in Harriettsville at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses by clicking the green Donate tab in the left column.
