Obituary for Jeffrey M. Mackie, Sr.
Jeffrey M. Mackie, Sr., age 56, of Marietta, Ohio, died Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born September 22, 1963, son of the late John and Delores Halley Mackie, Sr. Jeff attended Shenandoah High School. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and camping, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, John Mackie and James T. “Tom” Mackie.
He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey M. (Jennie) Mackie, Jr. of Marietta and Joshua A. (Tiffany) Mackie of Lower Salem; 6 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Monday, August 10, 2020, from 11AM-2PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2PM with Daniel Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery. For public safety, guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing at all gatherings.
