James Ralph Robinson, age 91, of Sarahsville, died Sunday morning (5/12/2002) at his residence. He was born 2/25/1911 in Marion Twp., Noble County, Ohio, a son of the late Perley & Rachel Clark Robinson. He was a 1930 graduate of Mt. Ephraim High School; was a retired school bus driver for Noble Local School District and had owned and operated a family farm for many years. He was a member of Olive Lodge #210 Free and Accepted Masons at Mt. Ephraim, Ohio. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Waneda 'Bonnie' Jones Robinson whom he married 12/21/1932 and who died 5/15/2000; 2 sisters Freda Robinson and Hilda Swank; a grandaughter Beth Ann Robinson and a daughter-in-law Julia Robinson. Surviving are 4 sons James D. (Pauline) of Sarahsville, Ohio, William A. (Shelva) of Weirton, West Virginia, Larry L. (Sally) of Lady Lakes, Florida and Jerry K. (Ellen) Robinson of Sarahsville, Ohio; 2 daughters Dianna (Terry) Hague of Summerfield, Ohio and Joan (Larry) Lanning of Byesville, Ohio; 1 sister Gertrude (Woodrow) Thomas of Canton, Ohio; 23 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 1 nephew and 3 nieces. Friends may call Monday (5/13/2002) from 2 until 9 PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home in Caldwell where Olive Lodge #210 will conduct Masonic Services at 7:30 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday (5/14/2002) at 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Jacobs and Jerry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Ephraim Cemetery in Mt. Ephraim, Ohio. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Guernsey, P.O. Box 1165, Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
