Obituary for J. Richard Burlingame
J. Richard Burlingame, age 92, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Monday, June 23, 2008, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio. He was born October 30, 1915, in Sharon, Ohio, son of the late Frank and Blanche Fisher Burlingame. He served for seven years as the Noble County Auditor, and he was an appraiser. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Belle Valley, a sixty year member of the Sharon Lodge #136 F&AM, and the Valley of Cambridge AASR. He is preceded in death by his wife, V. Martha James Burlingame, who died September 9, 2003; and one son, Jimmy Burlingame, who died May 24, 1947. Surviving are two daughters, Jane (Jack) Hrinko of Caldwell and Susan (Tom) Ruff of Cumberland; four grandchildren, Christopher (Stacy) Hrinko and Lisa Tanner, both of Caldwell, and Kelly Dawn (Bob) Rogers and James Ruff, both of Novelty; and eight great-grandchildren, Samantha, Katelyn, and Kyle Tanner, Jacob, Nathan, Sarah, and Clayton Hrinko, and Cassia Rogers. Friends may call Wednesday, June 25, 2008, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, followed by Masonic services at 8PM. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 26th at 11AM at Faith Baptist Church, Belle Valley, with Richard Friedmann officiating. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery.
