Obituary for J. Hope Clark
J. Hope Clark, age 85, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at Country Lawn Center in Navarre. She was born October 13, 1929, in Reinersville, Morgan County, daughter of the late Hiram and Bernice Rex Henderson. She was employed as secretary for Yontz-Anderson Insurance in Caldwell. Mrs. Clark attended Sarahsville United Methodist Church, and she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Reinersville. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin W. Clark, who died in 1993.
Surviving are her children, Cheryl A. (Thomas) Stottsberry of Massillon, Connie D. (Pat) Brack of Lascassas, Tennessee, and Ricke L. Clark of the home; her siblings, Freda Mae Russell of Columbus, H. Edward (Marianne) Henderson of Zanesville, and C. Kaye Shook of Columbus; one sister-in-law, Charlotte Brumage of Sarahsville; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 1PM-4PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where a memorial service will follow at 4PM with Pastor Jimmy Rogers officiating. Inurnment will take place at Center Free Methodist Cemetery at a later time.
