Obituary for J. Carlos Crum
J. Carlos Crum, age 80, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. He was born March 10, 1938, in Marietta, son of the late John Parker and Lottie Opal Morrison Crum. He attended grade school in Carlisle and attended the Crum Ridge Church of Christ. Carlos enjoyed helping out on the family farm, where he would feed the chickens and gather eggs, bale hay, and work in the garden.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant sister, Helena Opal Crum
Surviving are his siblings, Eva Bettinger, Ellen Martin, Marlee Crum, Larry Crum, and Vernon (Faith) Crum, all of Caldwell; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, and Thursday, August 2nd from 10-11AM at Crum Ridge Church of Christ, 40660 Crum Ridge Road, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation Thursday at 11AM with Evangelist Harry Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Crum Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, P.O.
